2003年PCゲームソング「LINK」でデビュー。
以降PCゲームソングを中心にアニメ主題歌なども歌唱する「ゲーム界の歌姫」。
2009年、人気TVアニメ『咲-Saki- 』のOP主題歌「Glossy:MMM」を担当、同年8月には渋谷0-EAST（現 TSUTAYA 0-EAST) でのワンマンライブはチケット完売。
テビュー10周年となる2013年、6月に記念ベストアルバム『ten years carat』を発売するとともに、初の東名阪ライブツアーも成功をおさめる。
2018年、同世代のアニソン歌手である、美郷あき、rino(CooRie)、yozuca*とともにユニット“M.A.R.Y. 4 TUNES”（マリーフォーチューンズ）を結成。
2019年1月にTVアニメ『サークレット・プリンセス』のOP主題歌「HEAT:Moment」を担当。
同年7月31日にデピュー15周年記念ベストアルバム『YOUnison 15→』（ユニゾンフィフティーン）を発売。
またデビュー15周年を締めるソロライブをTSUTAYA 0-EASTにて開催。同時に複数動画配信サイトにて生放送を行い、視聴者数は合計で8000人を超える大盛況となった。
PCゲームソングとアニメソングの主題歌の歌唱はもちろんのこと、作詞についても定評があり、
自身の活動の幅をさらに広げ、今後さらなる飛躍を期待されている。
2003: Makes her debut with the PC game song Link. She has since sung Anime Theme songs, and mainly PC game songs, giving her the alias Diva of the Game World.
2009: Sings Glossy:MMM, the opening to the popular TV anime Saki. In August of the same year, tickets for her one-man live at SHIBUYA O-EAST (Currently Spotify O-EAST) were completely sold out.
2013: Releases her Greatest Hits album ten years carat, commemorating the 10th anniversary of her debut, and successfully conducts her first live tour across Tokyo, Nagoya, and Osaka.
2018: Forms the vocal unit M.A.R.Y 4 TUNES, with fellow Anisong singers of her era; Aki Misato, rino, and yozuca.
2019: Sings HEAT:Moment, opening theme to the TV anime Circlet Princess in January. Performs at the M.A.R.Y. 4 TUNES first live at Selene Studio SELENE B2 in Shirokane-Takanawa on March 30th. Releases a Greatest hits album YOUnison 15→, commemorating the 15h anniversary of her debut, on July 31st, additionally holding a solo live at TSUTAYA O-EAST (currently Spotify O-EAST) to wrap up the anniversary. It was streamed on live on multiple video streaming sites, with a total viewer count exceeding 8000.
2022: MIYUKI HASHIMOTO 2022 ~yell!!~ was held at LIQUIDROOM after the overcoming of the COVID-19 Pandemic. This was her first double-performance, selling out, and as the name implies, sending a cheering “yell” to fans.
In addition to singing theme songs for PC games and anime, she is now expanding her horizons to include songwriting and composition, and is expected to make even greater strides in the future.
